Carbon footprint and green market strategy for eco-conscious holiday cottages
Our collaboration journey:
Maria and I first collaborated on measuring the carbon footprint of the business including estimating the business' scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for 2022 and a previous baseline year.

This showed her great progress to date, especially on renewable energy giving her the data to show how much her hard work had paid off.

We also uncovered a few surprises together that showed where there were larger than expected areas of emissions, e.g. Scope 3 travel.

Creating and implementing a net-zero plan for a specialist day trip tour operator

After our initial consultation with the CEO, we agreed the scale of sustainability impact to the business expected, and determined the operator's sustainability aspirations.

We then created a comprehensive sustainability assessment, including measuring carbon emissions and waste footprint.
